How To Change Font Size In Hotmail Outlook

Hello John,

In Internet explorer you can use these shortcuts.
Other browsers are similar.

CTRL +(plus) Zoom In
CTRL + (minus) Zoom Out
CTRL + mouse scroll wheel

Outlook.com
Mail
"Wheel" top right hand corner
Options.
Writing email
Formatting font & signature.
Choose which font size etc you'd like to start off with when you write a new message.
Save.

This was not my question - it is not about font size of the e-mails I am writing but font size of my e-mail inbox and incoming e-mails. I tried the approach you mentioned in Outlook for changing font in writing e-mails and it did not address the problem I have.

Sorry for the delay in response. I'll be happy to help you with this.

I would like to inform you that there is no option to increase the font size of inbox in Outlook.com. There is a possibility that the font size of all the content in the webpage might have been changed. You might have to increase the Zoom level in order to fix this.

You may try the keyboard shortcuts provided by JMH3143. (MS - MVP) replied on December 13, 2014 to fix this issue.

CTRL +(plus) Zoom In
CTRL + (minus) Zoom Out
CTRL + mouse scroll wheel

Thanks for your reply but it does not resolve my issue. The font size on all my other webpages is fine - my problem is only with seeing my inbox and any incoming e-mails - and this is a fairly recent problem, the font size in my inbox and incoming e-mails was fine until about two months ago. Thanks, John

Were there any changes made to your account prior to this issue?

Since you are facing this issue only with Outlook.com account, I suggest you to use a different browser to login to your Outlook.com account and test the issue this will help us determine if it is browser specific.

If the issue persists, you may try to reset Internet Explorer Settings and check if it helps.
